Acapulco Bay

Here you can see Lima Lima coming in for one of their famous "Wifferdill" turns over
beautiful Acapulco Bay in Mexico. This was the first air show that has ever been done
in Acapulco and certainly the largest ever done in all of Mexico. We shared the stage
with the USAF Thunderbirds as well as pilot legends such as Kirby Chambliss, Gary
Ward, Walt Pierce and Julie Clark. The entire road trip took eight days...two down,
 four there and two back. The trip was great, the people friendly, the accommodations
superb all accompanied by great weather and smooth flying conditions. This picture
was taken from the back of the number seven aircraft by El Sur photographer Karina
Tejada and was used as a front page spread in the October 31st edition. I've always
wanted to be able to use Frank Sinatra's tune "Come Fly With Me" with a picture so
 turn up your sound and enjoy!
